So much has been happening over at the knot lately. Not only have I had the opportunity to create some new and creative shows for, The Knot Live, but I've been able to work on a team with some of my closest friends, Annie and Nil.
Annie's come up with some really great concepts this season, and Nil and I have had the pleasure of seeing them come to life, Nil through sound and myself, through the camera lens, but I think I've had the most fun in post production, watching it all piece together.
Take "Bri(de) Code" for example. It was by far the easiest one to shoot, and maybe one of the most fun days I've had in the studio as of late. Those funny ladies had me laughing the entire day, and still have me laughing as I add quirky backgrounds and comical graphics to go along with their stories. I'm a sucker for a good love story (who isn't) and so shooting and editing the "Wedding of the Week" series has been so much fun. It was really great to meet these amazing couples and here a little bit of how they met, got engaged and then to hear about their weddings. It was also so sweet to watch them relive their special day all over again, and I'm glad we were able to give them that small gift. Watch Anja and Ben's story about their amazing Arizona wedding weekend, I really want to go to Arizona now!
It's also been really cool meeting some truly talented vendors! We got to hang out with the hip ladies over at Flower Girl NYC and learned how to make a winter flower arrangement, we met up with Amy of Sugar Flower Cake Shop and saw the intricate details that go into making realistic sugar flowers, we hung out with Jove Meyer and got to shadow him as he created a magical NYC wedding and we learned some amazing tips from the cool dudes of Dexter Lake Club Band, Tim and Jamie. And that's just some of the things going on over at The Knot right now. I've also been working with the amazing guys at XY Content to edit a behinds the scenes look at what went into creating a really awesome Rube Goldberg machine that makes bread!
